Well, that was a fun mini-season...

Since the MSU game when Fortson scored 33, until the South Carolina game where Fortson outplayed Downey, we had a fun little mini-season. We were 7-4 in conference play. I think we're 7-6 now. We might beat Vandy. We might beat Ole Miss. But we're not doing anything this postseason, if we even get to play past the SEC Tourney. Can someone tell me if you can get into the NIT with a .500 record, or do you have to be over .500?


I'm satisfied with this season. Last night's game was an abomination. LSU was terrible. Rotnei isn't going to miss so many 3s. But I think Powell just wasn't ready to play, especially knowing he was the only big guy.

But overall, I'll take it. We improved. We're going to get more help with our recruiting class, plus Jeff Peterson, the PG transfer from Iowa. He'll be a solid backup to Fortson.
